My husband and I enjoyed the teriyaki steak with soup and salad - I’m not a big steak person so saying I really enjoyed the steak is saying something! Desert and wine were excellent as was our waiter Doug. The only downside was having to order 3 different bottles of wine before they had what we wanted in stock.

The food prices were on par with the area. Staff was attentive. Very pleasant. The food itself was delicious, very good portion sizes.

Wonderful food and service, great options and service from staff. Very good bread before the meal and exquisite steaks. I love coming here for dinner whenever I am in Mystic!

A lovely vintage steak house that is reminiscent of when your grandparents took you out for a special occasion. Dana was our server and she was so wonderful! We ordered the ribeye, which was excellently rare, as requested, the mushrooms and Brussels sprouts. They did not have the wine we ordered, but the substitution provided was SO MUCH better than we expected! All in all it was a fantastic experience. I highly recommend making a reservation, as Mystic is a tourist town and tables can and do fill up quickly! We will be returning very, VERY soon!

I had the pleasure of experiencing The Steak Loft in Olde Mistick Village during a charity function for #LightTheWorld, and I cannot recommend this establishment enough. The staff and management were an absolute delight to work with—they truly went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly.The food was nothing short of spectacular! From the succulent crab cakes to the perfectly seasoned teriyaki chicken, every dish was bursting with flavor and prepared to perfection.However, what really stood out to me was the relationship we built with the management and staff. Their genuine hospitality and care made the entire experience unforgettable. We visited on 9/24. Lindsay was our server. She was very friendly and engaging. It had been nearly thirty years since I last had been stationed in Groton and dined at The Steak Loft. It was every bit of what I remembered! We had the Medallions with the Stuffed Mushrooms appetizer. Simply delicious!! It brought back many memories of when I had dined with family and friends during my time in the Navy. Thank you for adding to our memorable trip!!

The Steak Loft Restaurant was not our first choice, but I was very pleased that we wound up there.My husband and I were looking forward to enjoying a seafood dinner on our last night in the Mystic area. However, we had an awful experience at the restaurant that we had chosen. The waitstaff there acted as though we were invisible and that our presence there was an inconvenience. Extremely disheartened and disappointed, a second Google search led us to the Steak Loft.I was expecting the worst when we spotted the name of the previous restaurant on the wall, but we were in for a pleasant surprise.Since there was a brief wait, my husband and I elected to sit at the bar. Although I did not get her name, the bartender was extremely warm, welcoming, and friendly. Even though they were visibly busy (we watched her take, make, shake, and pour drinks), she greeted us with a smile and took our drink orders shortly after we were seated. After having such a bad experience at the other restaurant, I was so appreciative of her attentiveness that I mentioned it to the manager, Casey, and told her that great service is something that I never take for granted and that she should know how well the staff at Steak Loft represents their brand. I went on to tell her about the horrible experience that we had in an establishment not far from theirs. I was shocked to find out that the other restaurant is one of their "sister restaurants". Casey was genuinely apologetic for the way we were treated and assured us that our concerns would be heard.Our food arrived within a reasonable amount of time and was delicious. I enjoyed the clam chowder and stuffed shrimp very much! To top it off, it was very sweet of Casey (no pun intended) to send me home with a complimentary apple crisp.The Steak Loft experience was definitely a great way to end our stay in the Mystic area.

I ordered a salad with shrimp (the menu noted 3 shrimp) - the size of the shrimp was big, they were fresh - the char was visible and it dominated the flavor of the shrimp. The salad was small (it was not a side salad nor was it a garden salad). There’s no salad bar anymore which is a bummer because the salad bar was amazing here. The atmosphere is a bit dark. Lots of wood furniture.

In Town visiting, staying at Residents Inn, looking for a good Steak. Arrived a bit later and the dining area was closing, but we could eat at the bar. Waitress was very informative as well as attentive. She explained the menu very well. We ordered sirloin steaks, shrimp, baked potato salad.Steaks were cooked perfect, salads were great, 1000 island dressing was amazing. Nice cold Beer in chilled glasses. Lots of food, glad my sister and I split the delicious meal. Keep up the good work!

Sorta of a throw back from the 80's. Dark wooden paneled rooms like a cabin. Not saying that it's bad just like a place your grandparents went to. Food was good and service was fast. I've been here several times and always was happy with everything.

Had a blast. Went for my birthday. Turned out, the bartender Bonnie's birthday is just a few days after mine. She was fantastic. So was the rest of the staff once we sat down for dinner. Made my birthday so much fun.

Went here after Mystic aquarium, sad to say they no longer have the salad bar but you can get salad with meal and they still have their awesome garlic ranch dressing

When in Mystic, this is a must visit. Have loved the steak loft for a long time. A classic steakhouse with classic New England Maritime theme. The only thing that is missing is there amazing walk up salad bar that they closed during the pandemic and it never made it to return.

Went here on a trip to Connecticut and need to go again. Staff was super friendly and helpful, and service was quick. I had the steak and stuffed shrimp combo along with fries and it was all delicious. Great place!

I've been going to this restaurant for most of my life, the food is delicious, and the quality of service is amazing. The prices are pretty reasonable for the serving sizes. I would recommend a steak (obviously), but they also have really good soups.

The waitress was very polite & friendly. Since I like my steak well done, I couldn't eat it. It was medium rare but other then that, the shrimps and stuffed baked potato was delicious.The other plates were delicious also.

Server seemed to have forgotten our table on more than one occasion. Someone who seemed to be a floor supervisor possibly (?) Took over our service.
