Had a blast. Went for my birthday. Turned out, the bartender Bonnie's birthday is just a few days after mine. She was fantastic. So was the rest of the staff once we sat down for dinner. Made my birthday so much fun.

Went here after Mystic aquarium, sad to say they no longer have the salad bar but you can get salad with meal and they still have their awesome garlic ranch dressing

Steak Loft is our go-to for a dinner out with the kids. The food is wonderful, the service is always great, and parking is a breeze. Highly recommend!

When in Mystic, this is a must visit. Have loved the steak loft for a long time. A classic steakhouse with classic New England Maritime theme. The only thing that is missing is there amazing walk up salad bar that they closed during the pandemic and it never made it to return.

Went here on a trip to Connecticut and need to go again. Staff was super friendly and helpful, and service was quick. I had the steak and stuffed shrimp combo along with fries and it was all delicious. Great place!

I've been going to this restaurant for most of my life, the food is delicious, and the quality of service is amazing. The prices are pretty reasonable for the serving sizes. I would recommend a steak (obviously), but they also have really good soups.

The waitress was very polite & friendly. Since I like my steak well done, I couldn't eat it. It was medium rare but other then that, the shrimps and stuffed baked potato was delicious.The other plates were delicious also.

Stacy is an excellent waitress very friendly. The food was so good, cooked just the way we like it. The salad bar has been closed for some time but the salad that comes with the meal is super tasty. The atmosphere was quiet because we sat in the back room. Great visit and can't wait to go back when we are in Mystic.

We've been coming to the Steak Loft throughout the 50 years they've been open. The food is delicious, the service has always been excellent, and the staff go out of their way to help with special occasions and even dietary restrictions. The atmosphere is everywhere between relaxing and fun. We've always had a good experience there and will continue to go back as often as possible.

Good traditional steakhouse, good spot to take out of towners for a good meal and dining experience, great atmosphere, cozy , woody , great steak and seafood choices, all around great menu , as a 30+ year customer - never had a bad experience/ meal , only negative is we miss the salad bar, been gone since COVID restrictions changed everything everywhere 🤔

Was a nice pub type atmosphere. The bar servers were friendly and helpful, but overworked. The three of them had trouble keeping up with the drinks from the floor and keeping up with the patrons sitting at the bar.

This is an old barn, really cool! They are celebrating 50 years open. We sat at the bar. Bartender Connie was great! We both had the New York Sirloin. Salad was a good size. Clam chowder was great. Dinner overall was excellent!

We just had another wonderful meal at Steak Loft! We have been going there for years to celebrate all of our special occasions and we always leave so happy! The steak teriyaki was amazing, as always, and the baked stuffed shrimp was to die for! Thank you for the wonderful service, Debbie!! Our family had a great night!

Excellent food, service, relaxing and nice ambiance, with good music! It was our first time here. We both had the Sirloin Tips, with red-skinned mashed potatoes. I had a vegetable skewer, while my fiance had a southwest salad; both were delicious! The tips were so tender (cooked just right to our medium rare liking), and the added onions, mushrooms, and demi-glace were perfect! The vegetable skewer had Brussel Sprouts, Onions, and Red and Green Peppers. His salad was very fresh and had multiple colored tortilla chip strips, cheese, corn, beans, and more. It was offered with a beautiful vinaigrette; he chose blue cheese dressing.

Just overall great rustic atmosphere with good service and great food. The main dining room has lots of things to look at.on the walls and feels very rustic. If that's not your style they also have a traditional dining room. All the waiters were very friendly and helpful. I often take out at this restaurant and the take out is as good as the food in house. If you are stopping by mystic, it is a must try!
